Please join us for our Fall Education Conference and Annual Business Meeting in beautiful Chelan! We are excited to offer two classes from Dave Swasey, a well known Building Official with 24 years (and counting) of experience in the building code industry and the current Building Code Educator for Edmonds College.
Day 1 will be the Legal Aspects of Code Administration for Permit Technicians covering how permit techs play a part in case law, ethics, and other legal aspects of building code administration. Day 2's class Managing Up - Working Effectively with Building Officials is a class designed to help participants understand Building Official duties and communication.

Due to the passing of ESSB5814, effective October 1, 2025, live presentations are subject to state sales tax. As a nonprofit organization, we are not required to collect tax for member only events (live presentations). Therefore, conference registrations are limited to members; anyone looking to register must be logged in with an active membership.
